Hypnobirthing and Breastfeeding Preparation

Workshops

Hypnobirthing for Confident Birth
A practical, no-waffle hypnobirthing workshop for parents who want to feel calm, informed and in charge of their birth – whatever way it unfolds.
We explore how your body and hormones work in labour, simple breathing techniques, relaxation and visualisation, and how to work with your mind instead of against it. You’ll learn how to build a birth environment that supports you (yes, even in hospital), how your birth partner can actually help, and how to use these tools in inductions, epidurals or caesarean births as well as straightforward labours.
You won’t be promised a “perfect birth”. You will leave with a toolbox of skills, scripts and strategies to meet your baby feeling grounded, powerful and prepared. €300 per couple. Workshops in January, February and May 2026.

Preparing for Breastfeeding Workshop
This workshop is for anyone who wants breastfeeding to get off to the best possible start – with real-world, honest information, not pressure or guilt.
We cover how milk production works, what actually happens in the first hours and days after birth, skin-to-skin, latch and positioning, feeding cues, cluster feeding, night feeds and what’s normal (and what isn’t). We look at how to know if your baby is getting enough, how your partner can support breastfeeding, expressing options, and how to protect breastfeeding in hospital and at home.
You’ll leave with a clear plan for those early days, realistic expectations, and the confidence to advocate for yourself and your baby – plus details of how to reach me for support if you need it once your baby is here. January workshop €60 per couple.

Lottery Grant Funded Antenatal Classes
Cuidiú Dundalk branch is delighted to be able to offer in-person, interactive one day antenatal classes to local parents in the Co. Monaghan region. These workshops are partly subsidised by the National Lottery and are hosted by Aoife Lennon, Cuidiú Antenatal Ireland Educator and IBCLC.

This class will help you and your birth partner to prepare for a positive birth, boost your confidence and support you in making informed decisions for birth and early parenting. In order to optimise your learning, groups are small (maximum 8 couples/pairs) which allows our teachers to tailor the class to your individual needs. Everyone has time to get their questions answered and to practice skills needed for labour and early parenthood. €50 per couple. Classes currently planned for January 2026 and February 2026.
